Just logged a fault with BT
Their machine message delivered an alert which basically said "in an effort to improve customer service, we're going to start randomly disconnecting people who are calling us to log faults in an attempt to force you to use our website, thus saving us money". Knowing this company as I do, I can't say I'm entirely surprised.

What's the worst piece of customer service you've ever encountered?

i was literally just about to start a thread asking something to do with sex. i bet it would have got more replies than this. never mind. i will save it for later.

in the meantime, virgin. without the shadow of any doubt. when i was ringing them to scream at them on tuesday, their automated system actually did this. [after pressing millions of buttons on their menu] "we are sorry you are experiencing difficulties in the postal code beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep". hung up on. by a machine.

anyway so far i have screwed 6 months phone rental and 2 months tv back out of them. cunts.
