I really liked Complicity. This one is good. I'm not in to sci-fi so haven't read any of the Iain M Banks titles
Didn't enjoy Espedair St that much first time around but I may give it another go.

The film of Complicity isn't too bad
the series of the Crow Road is pretty good too. By which I mean it has tits in it.

I need to get Transition.

Most of his sci fi isn't quite like other peoples. I'd recommend reading the Player of Games.

I thought the Player of Games
was one of his least impressive books. It was well written, but the story was quite clichéd. I much preferred Use of Weapons.

and I really liked the way he described the games and stuff.

I don't really care for Use of Weapons, but I don't really know why, as I know a lot of people really rate it. You and my bro for example, who are both fans of his work.

It's unusual, but I think I don't like it because I like the characters and don't like what happens to them.
