John Paul Jones is an amazing musician
even if you don't particularly like their attitude or their sound, you have to admit there is some interesting and high quality music going on on that album.

I don't have to admit anything of the sort
the album was highly tedious and uninteresting. I tried listening to it, I really did, but after three or four attempts, if nothing is grabbing my attention, it's not going on again.

I can imagine that some of it might be a bit abrasive to listen to as well. I've gone off it compared to how good I thought it was to begin with.

There are still some musical phrases and timings on it that impress the hell out of me though.

aside from Breaking the Law and maybe one or two others. Don't really do it for me aside from in a tongue-in-cheek way
