He definitely hadn't got his 'mur-jur' back.EDIT actually I fucking love the Geordie accent. And it really is definitely true to say it's the closest pronounciation-wise to Middle English still being spoken today - if you read the Canterbury Tales in a Geordie accent it sounds just right.

It is pretty goodprefer the Scouse accent though. It just sounds gritty.
