I loved the Truckers and Diggers books when I was a kid but never liked his stuff after that.I saw a documentary on him and his alzheimers and he came across as such a nice chap. You shouldn't wish someone dead because you don't like their material. However it also pisses me off when someone dies who was mediocre at something gets lauded as epic.
