I've been going through chat logs of txt spk for half of this week
It's painful, and half the time they don't understand each other, always saying "wut?".

it bugs me when they use as many or more letters for an incorrectly spelled word
when the idea of txt spk is to shorten the words.

txt spk on phones, I can kinda let pass
Even though predictive text is easier and quicker.
Txt spk when you have a full keyboard is moronic.

I can't bring myself to use text speak even in texts
I just shorten my sentence accordingly.
