The entire modern fucking world.
I don't 'get' the appeal of any of it.

I only seem to go to clubs if I'm paid to play records these days: this has been the case for a good ten years now. I do like a nice pub - especially in the daytime during winter if they have a real fire.

But my favourite of all is a night in with food and a few close friends.

That's given me a vision of you sitting in a pub somewhere in a tiny village outside Keighley
by the fire, with a pint of beer in one hand, the other hand cupping your pipe, flatcap resting at a jaunty angle, and whippet slumped dozily across your feet, as you explain to one of the locals in a slow, patronising Englishman-talking-to-a-foreigner tone of voice that you can't understand a fucking word he's saying.
