where kids give each other their PIN and then they converse. My office junior started a conversation with "this guy keeps pinning me". I had to ask her to explain it and I felt well old.

Loads of people on my facebook all changed their status' to 'blackberry pin blah blah' at the same time. Freaked me out a little.

I think it's like adding someone on facebook
you have to swap pins to be able to message each other, if you don't have someone's pin you can't see them on the network. I haven't actually seen it but it sounds like a little Facebook network just for Blackberry users.
