By way of rebuttal to that (slightly smug) cartoonThe offence kicks in at times when, for example, a friend asked me what I'd been up to the previous evening.
"Well, I tried learning [name of song]. Almost got the hang of it now," replied I,
"Oh, I didn't know you had Guitar Hero," she replied.
I didn't. I was trying to learn to play it on a real fucking guitar, which is a hell of a lot more satisfying.
