that's the dream
I'm sure my mrs pretended to be taller than she is to lure me in.

High heels: adding shape to your calf muscles, and deceiving your boyfriend into thinking that kissing you won't give him back pains in the long-term

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:15, Reply)
that's the weird thing
she rarely wore heels.

I think I used to slouch a lot more. so really it was my own fault, but let's face it, my ex was about 5'3, my mrs is 5'8. That's quite an upgrade
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:16, Reply)
I've only been with one guy who was the same height as me.
The rest were slightly shorter. I would have liked to go out with a guy who was taller than me.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:15, Reply)
we are better than short people

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:16, Reply)
pfft
medium height are the best
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:17, Reply)
Just you wait 'til you need a light bulb changing

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:19, Reply)
And they can't find a chair.
Oh boy will we rule the world then.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:20, Reply)
They can try and fight back
But we'll just pick them up by the ankles and hold them upside down 'til they learn better.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:21, Reply)
Yeah and hold them at arms length while they try to throw a punch.

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:22, Reply)
This will be the funniest civil war in history
At least from our point of view.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:23, Reply)
It's not that much of a height difference!

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:23, Reply)
Have you seen how tall Crow is?

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:24, Reply)
no
But I was talking more about you. Are you over six foot?
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:25, Reply)
I might as well be.
5'10"

But I am built like a brick shithouse.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:26, Reply)
5'6" but nearly always in heels

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:27, Reply)
Steady, I'm only 6'2"
I'm still left looking up to Enzyme, both metaphorically and literally.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:26, Reply)
I remember you taller than that.

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:27, Reply)
I think it's just because I'm quite broad at the shoulders.
Although if you check the bash photos, I look really tall in all of them except the ones where I'm standing around Enzyme and Pookie.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:29, Reply)
is Enzyme really tall?

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:29, Reply)
He must be around 6'5", 6'6"

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:32, Reply)
blimey
good job he is a scrawny looking bugger
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:33, Reply)
That would be intimidating
A fiercely intelligent giant capable of punching you clear across a ballroom.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:35, Reply)
you'd just have to hate someone like that
quietly though, and not to his face
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:40, Reply)
Oh man
they really hate it when you do that!
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:23, Reply)
wrong
I have been every height from short, through medium until I reached the height I am now, and can categorically state that this height is better than all the others.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:19, Reply)
I discovered recently
that I have a 44" chest. Means little in practice as I still don't look all that wide and it's probably mostly moob even if I did, but it sounds a damn sight more impressive than 38.

Edit: This sounds like self-indulgence upon second read-through. I was supposed to be backing up the taller is better thing.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:22, Reply)
is that across?

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:24, Reply)
Around under the armpits
I'd be the size of the average MPV if it was across.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:24, Reply)
mine was 44"
but is now something like 41 or 42. Inconvenient as it means none of my old suits and jackets fit me.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:25, Reply)
Agreed.
Short people can't do smug and get away with it. If Stephen fry was 5'1" he would be punched in the face a lot. being a tallish chap, he gets away with it. Quite rightly so.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:24, Reply)
He's about six foot 4 isn't he?

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:25, Reply)
and a bit I believe.
But he does slouch sometimes.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:26, Reply)
He's been punched in the face at least once
quite possibly for excessive smugness.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:27, Reply)
He's not infallible.
A small person probably used a chair to stand on.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:28, Reply)
You are Randy Newman
AICMFP
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:18, Reply)

Newman

/obvious strikethrough is obvious
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:19, Reply)
It was no dream, she was all real.
She came up to me and looked me in the eyes and I said "I like a girl I can see eye to eye with." Worse chat up line ever, but it worked.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:20, Reply)
Good grief
I think that makes you (lucky bastard)2
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:22, Reply)
You haven't heard the rest of the details.
I was lucky cubed.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:25, Reply)
I presume this is going to develop into an equation of the form
Bartleby = (lucky * lucky)cup_size ?
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:27, Reply)
Her dad probably owned a pub.

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:28, Reply)
No, she was a blond haired amazon from the czech republic.

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:30, Reply)
Fucking hell.
*thinks*
Actually, I'm going to Prague in a few weeks' time...
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:31, Reply)
I'll leave you with this thought about her accent.
We came back from the pub (in Dunstable) and we were going to have sexy time. Being a good clean girl, she whispered in my ear. "Go unt vosh your villy."

I obeyed.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 11:34, Reply)
