I don't recall ever seeing much wood on Woolacombe beach
that is an impressive achievement. He really is like a giant child isn't he?

Too right he is
I saw no other bits of wood on the whole beach, let alone a 5ft long, thick straight stick.
The rock pools were shit though, only a couple of tiny fish, no crabs, lobster or kraken.

it's not a very good area for rock pools really
better off on the south coast for that sort of thing, or down into Cornwall.
