Shortest I waited was a week,
Although that was a special case since a) Me and my best friend's ex getting together was completely unexpected, b) She has the exact same view on exes as me and so didn't mind and c)At the same time, she was screwing his best friend in the next tent along.

Other than this, I would usually wait a bit longer. Couple of weeks maybe? Oh, actually. Who did the dumping?

It's good you both feel that way.
Not sure, but the one let her ex stay over and had the other staying at a friends because she was confused. This went on for a couple of weeks. Then they broke it off. Not sure who did the actual dumping.

edit for clarification: I'm interested in the one that was told to stay at a friends.
