So is your client trying to claim, or avoid paying the service charge?

(, Sun 26 Sep 2010, 22:49, Reply)
my client is the landlord
it has spent about £1.5M on the building and every other tenant has paid it. these jokers are sitting there with the benefit of the brand new air con and decor and lifts but refusing to pay for it.

they will be sued. oh yes. they will be sued.

Is going to court your favourite bit?

(, Sun 26 Sep 2010, 22:52, Reply)
depends
it's interesting but terribly stressful. normally i wouldn't go to court for something like this, i'd just send the bailiffs in to take their stuff or stat demand them first, but for various technical legal reasons, can't do that here.

I'm imagining something between LA Law and Ally McBeal
With a bit of 'send in the heavies' for good measure.

If you like using bailiffs, have a gander at Operation Repo on YouTube. Nothing but professional these lads. Hell no.

ha thanks
i will do! always looking for new heavies to frighten away squatters and debtors... the more unprofessional the better...

I'm not saying they provoke those who property the need to reclaim but....
