unless you actually need it to pull stranded sheep out of ditches there is no need to have a 4x4, especially such a shit 4x4 that, were you to suddenly need to pull something out of anything, would not be up to the job.

I did use it offroad on occasion (mainly to drive across the parking fields at Royal Ascot and at the Polo)

it fucking would. It's a brilliantly good 4x4. The diff distribution system is genius, and the air suspension works brilliantly, and it has pretty short overhangs. It's just ugly as buggery and really expensive.
