Manchester is not, never has been and never will be 'safe'.
Carry a picture of Chompy at all times to terrify any potential assailant.

Ross 'Nurble' is shit. Peter Cook shall never be equalled.

Ah, I see that validation of last week is gone.
What I meant is that I felt comfortable going out on my own, and was not afraid to go out after dark.

I have to say that wandering around on your own at night in any city ,
even if you are a man, is not a good idea. You should not feel comfortable doing that as you are being reckless with your own safety.

The world is full of ghastly people.

Now, I'm only saying this because I care, OK? Good, well have a nice night and here's £20 for a cab home. DON'T SPEND IT ON CIDER - PROMISE?

PROMISE
I don't like cider, so it's fine.

I once accidentally walked through St Pauls (in Bristol)
at midnight by myself.

That's quite brave!
I go there a fair bit as I have some friends there and you can watch the atmosphere change from between 6ish 8ish. The carnival is epic mind.

it was an accident
I didn't realise I was in St Pauls until the next day

Exeter is pretty safe actually

I used to regularly walk home alone in Liverpool
Through Smithdown and the town end of Kensington. I got some shit when I lived in Aigburth though, on account of being a 'goffick' and all.
