In Bedford, I'd sleep on my mate's couch.It also has some very good Italian restaurants, and the Beer festival is next week.

To be fair, the place did have a few good restaurants and some good boozers which impressed meI think it's just the fact that every night I was there, the streets seemed to be rammed with scantily clad proles staggering out of the Wetherspoons on their way to some grotty nightclub.

Yes, it was indeed the Wellie I fell in love with, during my sojourn thereTop boozer with superb beers. Sitting in there, you could almost believe you were somewhere other than Bedford. Is that where this beer festival is being held?
