Brian Perkins
He has a wonderfully soothing voice. Even if the content of the shipping forecast spells woeful news for people out on the sea, his calm, reassuring tones tell me that all is not so bad in the world.

Did you hear Brian Cox on Question Time last night - he has an excellent voice. I saw J E J in a play a few months ago - superb oratory.
