I hate talking about the weather
we all have eyes, we can see what the weather is doing, it's unnecessary to discuss it.

"ooh it's warm today isn't it?"
"yes it is"
"I brought my coat but I hardly need it"
"yeah, it's all warm and shit"
"that'll be it for summer, just you watch"
"I'm watching"
"the weather's been awful this year, this is the first sunny day in weeks"
"I DON'T CARE!"

it's a good topic
if you have to talk with someone you don't really know.
(, Fri 8 Oct 2010, 11:49, Reply)
It's not, I rather stay silent
or talk about the news or something.
(, Fri 8 Oct 2010, 11:50, Reply)
if you talk about the news you get other people's opinions though
if there's one thing I can't stand, it's hearing what some other cunt thinks about something.
(, Fri 8 Oct 2010, 11:51, Reply)
Well
You get other people's opinions about the weather too. Like that "this is all for summer, you'll see"
(, Fri 8 Oct 2010, 11:52, Reply)
that's harmless though
and I have an extra special store of "I don't care" for people who give opinions on the weather. Means I can listen to them for longer, content that they are talking shit.
(, Fri 8 Oct 2010, 11:54, Reply)
You should have the same for the news too
As I said, I rather keep quiet.
(, Fri 8 Oct 2010, 11:55, Reply)
Other people will either be agreeing with you or talking stupid nonsense.

true
I was small-talking with someone once, and they mentioned they supported the BNP. It made things very awkward and non-smalltalky
(, Fri 8 Oct 2010, 11:55, Reply)
Did he try to convince you too?

(, Fri 8 Oct 2010, 11:55, Reply)
yes
he didn't have much luck. Last time I spoke to him he'd voted Labour
(, Fri 8 Oct 2010, 11:57, Reply)
That's much better than BNP
I have a couple of friends who I considered "interensting". Then I discovered one suported BNP and the other went to the elections representing the UKIP. Conversation with them now is complicated.
(, Fri 8 Oct 2010, 12:01, Reply)
Nobody should be friends with a racist and/or BNP or EDL supporter.
