The stupidest thing I've come across recently is recorded delivery post. I posted a job application on Tuesday, and did it first class recorded delivery since the deadline was today. The Royal Mail site shows it as undelivered, so either they'll utterly failed at first class delivery, or they haven't bothered getting anyone to sign for it.

Money well spent, that one.

But it's whether it's actually undelivered and I shout at them for that, or they haven't got it signed for properly and I shout for that.
