I'm shit at that
I don't like confrontations. My cousing got married 3 years ago and managed to upset half of the village, and now that half of the family doesn't talk to the other. I didn't want to make things worse.

Clearly
if they're more concerned about their fueds than your wedding, then they aren't worth worrying about offending, it sounds like they'll find a way of getting offended whatever you do.
