too much sleep
I'd say. I slept for ages last night and in proof that his is not a good thing, I shall cite my dreams. Instead of four or five short ones, I had one long dream

I thought you had a dream
in each sleep cycle, of which you have several a night, and you only remember the last dream you had?
/may be total bollocks

It is total bollocks.

Wiki - and what I remember of neuroscience from uni - says otherwise
dreaming most strongly correlates with periods of REM sleep, of which you can have up to five separate periods of per night.

Except that at the average length of sleep cycle
I generally go through only one or perhaps 2 complete cycles in my sleep, yet generally have distinct dreams.

Also the actual time felt far longer in my dream

There is that, I guess
although I really don't know how you function at all on the amount of sleep you get!

I had the most mental dream last night
But as there is nothing more boring than listening to some talking about their dreams, I'll not go into detail. Suffice to say it was mental.

I don't remember last night's dream
possibly because I only had 4 hours sleep and I feel rough as old balls.

there are many many things more boring than that
