A tape recording of one of Tony Blair's speeches - especially one in which he's pretending to be contrite and apologetic - must be a surefire passion-killer. The only side-effects I can think of are murderous rage and crawling skin.

It's dangerous stuff. I certainly wouldn't recommend messing with it.
I once accidentally read a paragraph of one of her columns in the Telegraph, and since then my once-magnificent custard cannon looks more like a hanging flower basket.

It's possible that it could go too far the other way
i.e., that you get so infuriated by it that you smash the tape player to pieces and then have to calm yourself down with an ANGERWANK.
