A wonderful choice.
How's your day been?

Had a pleasant bus ride to Selfridges (not going up the Walworth road, which is grot and I see it every day)
over Vauxhall Bridge and around Victora area and Hyde Park. Not a place I know well, so it's nice to look out the window. Had a short, painful yet fruitful meeting with the piercer, and home again. I've just not done very much and I'm still knackered. But it's been pleasant, and I've got 2 more days of "weekend". I plan to tidy my room and do some work.

How was your day?

Late to bed and early up :(
Toast, honey and lemon tea and paracetamol to budge this cold, a few sweet hours with daughter then into town to stock up on crap. Daughter's gone to the fair in town so I'm home alone, sat here letting iTunes do its thing while the cider gently adjusts things for me.

The whole house seems to have some sort of sleepy-sickness, we were all in bed by 11.30.
Good luck on budging the cold. I have no tried-and-tested remedies I'm afraid.

I'm pretty bored, though. I quite want to go out, but I'm just too tired.

I'll tell you
The juice of half a lemon in the bottom of a cup, one tea-bag, filled with boiling water, squeeze the bag a couple of times, then three spoons of honey stirred in, taken with two paracetamol, is the only cure for colds I'll ever take now. Bloody brilliant.

Sounds quite nice actually.
I'll try that in a few months when I get my Terrible Winter Illness.
