Svalbard
Really want to see that place.

Alt Q: Apocalypse Now. It's an extremely quotable film too.

I generally hate films people quote.

You hate Full Metal Jacket too then?

(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 9:21, Reply)
I generally hate people who quote films.
When there's far better stuff in Ian Dury lyrics.

I generally hate Ian Dury lyrics
but I like Apocalypse Now and Full Metal Jacket

Mind you I don't really hate Ian Dury Lyrics

One night at a leaving party for a colleague
I got stuck next to this guy who has really put me off seeing This Is Spinal Tap just by endlessly quoting lines from it. He was amusing himself no end but I was on the verge of losing it with him.

What's wrong with being sexy?

(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 9:27, Reply)
this, but with Anchorman.

(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 9:31, Reply)
Oh yes this,
I think I don't mind anchorman because I saw it at the cinema before people started fucking quoting every line.
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 9:34, Reply)
I hate Will Ferrell and my insensitive friend who loves Anchorman decided to buy it for me for my 21st
I've seen it twice and it does get slightly more amusing the second time, but it's still pretty annoying. And once someone quotes it then you're stuck in a half hour quoting marathon and any time you try and steer the conversation away from it some douche will quote another line and it'll start again. I hate Will Ferrell.
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 9:55, Reply)
I normally hate him too
But Anchorman is damn funny. It does take a few goes though, but it's problem is that 90% of the lines are eminently quotable. Like Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness.

and Monty Python and the Holy Grail?
and This Is Spinal Tap?
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 9:26, Reply)
More like Waynes World
or fucking Withnail and I.
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 9:29, Reply)
I can't argue with either of those
Also, as much as I love the Python films, there is a saturation point, as the below expresses beautifully (yet messily)

Have you seen this?
www.xkcd.com/802/

It took me a minute or two to find b3ta on there.
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 9:57, Reply)
I'm probably being thick
But are we represented by the /b/?
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 10:10, Reply)
You are being thick
/b/ is a subforum of 4chan, otherwise known as 'random'.

b3ta is not in the forum subsection of that map, keep looking.
(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 10:11, Reply)
Good to know
Have looked over it twice, giggled helplessly at "People you can't unfriend" both times and failed to find B3ta. Now officially past caring
