THIS MAN KNOWS THE TRUTH
apart from wine, wine is for fags.

fags sophisticates
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 22:45, Reply)
sophisticunts more like
Cider or sambuca. Not a lot else.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 22:47, Reply)
Lager
is now only used as a hangover cure.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 22:48, Reply)
I just find it to taste dull and grimy.
Cider is sweet or sharp and tastes of something lager is just fizzy dirt. I am very stoned.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 22:50, Reply)
No lager here either
unless I'm raiding someone elses fridge at the end of the night. Bitter/Amber Ale/Golden Ale is where it's at.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 22:52, Reply)
Ale is gross. It tastes like stale stinky water.

(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 22:54, Reply)
Once your tastebuds finish growing
you'll change your mind.

God that's disgusting

(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 22:50, Reply)
What?
I couple of small Stellas to take the edge off is just the ticket.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 22:53, Reply)
Bleurgh
and once again bleurgh.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 22:57, Reply)
What do you suggest?

(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:03, Reply)
Lager is utterly dire at the best of times
I would not consider being hungover as 'the best of times' and I would certainly not consider drinking stella, ever. Can't you just have a fry up or some toast or something like a normal person?
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:05, Reply)
That requires effort.
A quick beer is just the ticket*.

*This isn't a regular occurance, but sometimes it's the only answer.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:06, Reply)
Fool of a Took!
A chocolate milk drink is clearly what is called for when even toast is too complicated.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:07, Reply)
Chocolate milk?
I'm 36 not 6.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:09, Reply)
Clearly you haven't learned its power in that time
super delivery of fats, sugars, antioxidants and liquid banish hangovers like magic. The Mars one is the gold standard but even store-brand chocolate milks can get the job done.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:24, Reply)
I'd be less ashamed drinking the dregs from the previous nights cans than buying a 'Mars' drink.

(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:26, Reply)
Stagger into a corner shop with dark rings around your red eyes and purchase a chocolate milk drink
and you'll get that nod from those who've been there and done that.

Although it's mostly muslims running them these days, so they just laugh at me.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:38, Reply)
Alcohol is not the answer
I'm increasingly coming to realise. Definitely not to a hangover, for sure! Oh and I spotted your reply up there ^ btw and if you are going to tease me I am going to ignore you :P
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:08, Reply)
Sorry berk.
*Invests in a chocolate milk machine and won't mention magical monday ever again*
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:10, Reply)
Milk on a belly full of last night's alcohol?
Christ, that's almost as bad as stella!
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:12, Reply)
I wonder if I could invent a milky stella?
That would be the ultimate.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:13, Reply)
I think I may have just done a little sick in my mouth

(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:14, Reply)
What was your accommodation like on the weekend?

(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:15, Reply)
I stayed in a hostel
for the few hours I was there and the price I paid, it was great. And the fact that they just laughed at me when I turned up at nearly 5am, clearly drunk. I didn't much like having to get up again at 9am to check out, though.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:17, Reply)
Are hostles good value then?
I thought they were rooms with about 30 people staying in them, rather than little en suites?

In the past, I've saved money on 'late nights out' by getting on the energy drinks late in the evening and then going to a casino to drink their coffee.

Before you know it, you've watched Sky Sports news for a couple of hours and the rest of the world has woken up, so you can go and get a breakfast and make your way home!

Cheap and a little adventure as well!
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:19, Reply)
I hadn't planned to go clubbing
but I was having a good evening, so I stayed out. I just don't function without sleep though, so staying out all night was never going to happen. They do sleep 10+ people usually. I've stayed in hostels all over europe and as a place to get your head down for cheap for a few hours they're great. Given that the cheapest hotel I found was £45 and wasn't anything like as central as the hostel, which was £12...
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:24, Reply)
Twelve quid?
That is cheap.

What facilities do they come with?
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:25, Reply)
A bed and communal toilet/shower facilities
there's usually a communal kitchen and net access as well.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:27, Reply)
Do they provide bedding and lockers
Or do you have to lug a sleeping bag and pillow with you?
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:28, Reply)
Some do, some don't
I've never stayed in one where I had to bring my own sleeping bag. There's almost always somewhere to lock up your stuff too, but they usually charge for it.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:30, Reply)
I suppose if you're only paying twelve quid
You can live with shelling out a few quid for secure storage.

Have you even slept with Stelios? I stayed in a EasyHotel once. That was an orange experience.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:32, Reply)
I have not
flying with him is enough, I think..
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:33, Reply)
Never wake up with a hangover in one of his rooms.
The orange BURNS your face off.
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:35, Reply)
Urgh
I can well believe it, actually. Speaking of which, I'm off - need my beauty sleep etc...
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:36, Reply)
*says nothing*

(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:38, Reply)
a wise move
she's hot.
(, Mon 25 Oct 2010, 0:01, Reply)
Nice price
Is that literally just a bed or can you shower in the morning?
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:26, Reply)
No, there were shower facilities
and a kitchen, I was just not capable of making use of either of them after four hours sleep and lots of booze!
(, Sun 24 Oct 2010, 23:27, Reply)
