they are ignoring the happenings of the AvP films
and they are being directed by Ridley Scott.

never seen a single Alien film
trufax. Tried to watch the first one a few years ago but the first half hour was so boring we just fastforwarded to the alien stomach scene, laughed our asses off and then watched something else.

you should at least watch the second one. It's totally different to the first.

and watch the 4th one as well because as discussed here the other day, you can see the beginnings of the crew from Firefly in it.
