I love the new head, she's much better than that sad sack of shit Rachel

And the missing daughter hasn't been that good. Neither has the 'giving up the baby' storyline.

has been alright. Because Jess is clearly a total fantasist, and it raised some interesting moral issues with age/consent. The baby storyline is shit yeah, and the missing daughter is meh.
But over all it's really interesting the entire turn around the school has taken. From being this weird school under Rachel with the emphasis on always valuing the bad kids, and letting the good kids down, the opposite is happening.

even recorded delivery Irish post takes a couple of days.
I know it seems strange I'm not asking friends to help me out. But sadly college is a very incestuous place. And the last thing I need is the chaplain, the nurse or whoever to think that I'm unable to cope with regulating my finances

You'll make yourself ill.
When you get some cash in, let us all know and we'll prepare you a shopping list of basics that'll be cheap and will keep you from starving.

to be honest I've gone longer on various diets etc.
The basics idea is a good one though

I don't like the idea of this 'no food' diet.
Can a fellow student not make you a sandwich or something?

but I genuinely don't want to risk it. I had a bad time last year with college continually checking up on me, making sure my room was tidy, booking taxis for me that sort of thing.

one time I complained that my legs were feeling sore to a friend. An hour later I had someone knocking on my door asking if I needed to go to the hospital

Surely the whole uni thing is your first steps out on your own.
Therefore, if you need to go to hospital, you'll phone for an ambulance yourself?
(, Wed 27 Oct 2010, 17:22, Reply)
luckily a combination of me persistently telling them in the politest possible way to fuck off and leave me alone, and simply locking my door meant they've buggered off and left me to it.
They only do it to me, because I was badly ill in my first year, and the college nurse failed to pick up on it even though I saw her 3 times. So they're overcompensating
