My parentshave an old stand alone record player from the 20s, and a load of old vinyl - think the earliest on is a blues record from about 1924. Problem is the needles on that are teh wrong kind for newer (as in about post 1945) records, apparently. So you're kind of limited in teh repetoire of what can be played.
