Puff the magic dragon
lived by the sea...
Something something something...
the little boy stopped believing in him in the end, didn't he, and puff died?
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:24, 2 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
Something along those lines berk.
You still smoking?
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:26, Reply)
Sort of
it's gone out and I'm not sure if I can be arsed sparking it back up again. Or if I particularly need to.
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:27, Reply)
Any late night texts from hot-bloke?

(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:28, Reply)
Some
none for about an hour though. *shrugs*
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:28, Reply)
I take it you sent the last one?
Chances are, he has fallen asleep.
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:29, Reply)
Yes, I did
I was none-too-gently ripping the piss out of him though. I doubt he's gone to sleep, he's probably still out in town.
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:31, Reply)
Do you have a lot of night-spots to choose from?

(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:37, Reply)
I live in Birmingham
(well, about 3 miles outside of it) so yeah, if you go in to the city centre then there's a lot going on.
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:39, Reply)
So it's not like you can jump in the car and go and stalk him for a bit then no?
Your best bet is to roll another fat one, have a cup of tea and get wasted.
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:47, Reply)
no it is not
nor is it a likely thing for me to do. the latter is pretty much my plan...
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:50, Reply)
..and frolicked in the autumn mist
in a land called Honalee
Little Jackie Paper Loved that rascal puff
and brought him things like sealing wax
and other fancy stuff

Man, that's just off the top of my head
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:38, Reply)
Yeah, I googled it
I remembered the vague jist, and it was just as sad as when I was tiny wee :(
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:41, Reply)
Unless you think 'Hmm, it's all about drugs'
But if - and I choose to - ignore that, then it is one of the sadest songs ever.
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:47, Reply)
And they claim it's not about drugs...

(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:43, Reply)
it was written in the 60s
EVERYTHING was about drugs
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:45, Reply)
Hahaha, good point
Hence why the 60's was the best decade EVAR!!!1!

Alright, alt-alt Q (seeing as I've only thought of it just now) - if you could travel back in time to see any one gig, what would it be?
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:53, Reply)
Well, I could have seen Pink Floyd
at Live8, had Madonna not been such a stage-hogging whore...
Probably Queen or Pulp.
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:54, Reply)
Queen's a good call
Never been mcuh of a fan of Pulp though. There's just something about Jarvis Cocker...

I'd go back and see Woddstock '69. Mainly for Hendrix (who am I kidding - mainly for the drugs. Hendrix would just be a bonus)
(, Fri 29 Oct 2010, 23:57, Reply)
Also a good call
I really ought to listen to some Hendrix. One of the rock greats I know next to nothing about.
(, Sat 30 Oct 2010, 0:01, Reply)
Go on Spotify
Start with 'Axis: Bold as Love' - every song's a classic. Fucking LOVE that album.

Oh, and if you've had a good smoke, try this on for size

Preferably with your eyes closed and the lights off. It's spellbinding, no joke
