The Haunting (1963)
Is my favourite creepy film...no monsters, no ghouls, no blood. Just good old fashioned sound effects and a liberal dose of imagination.

Blood and gore in a horror film tends to make it less scary for me
In saying that, I watched 'Critters' when I was like 7, and it scared the shit out of me. Fuck knows why - it's a total comedy horror film; www.imdb.com/title/tt0090887/

Just proves I was slightly retarded as a child

Watching that film
Gave me an irrational fear of those googly-eyed furry sticky toy things you used to get. Can't for the life of me remember what they were called though

They were like wee furry balls with eyes
And had feet you could stick to things. Tell me I haven't just imagined them...
