What's your go-to dish for curry?

(, Mon 1 Nov 2010, 18:31, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
Tarka daal
I only really like muttar paneer when my dad makes it. He makes it amazingly well :D

Otter curry?
Never seen that before.

Edit - Ok crap joke is crap.
(, Mon 1 Nov 2010, 18:35, Reply)
I tend to like them 'otter than that.

Oh ffs
Evening love.

'evening
How do? I was about to starting preaching the unexpected goodness of Spam curry before I remembered you're still vaguely vegematarian.
(, Mon 1 Nov 2010, 18:41, Reply)
If someone cooks meat for me well and it's of a decent quality I'll eat it
So I'm not sure Spam comes under the latter part of that.

Life's not bad, I've gone a bit Manchester and bought a parka, but at least it's black rather than khaki. How's life going with you?

Careful, Monty might get confused and piss on your suede loafers...
I'm not bad, thanks. Off Oop North myself this weekend to visit The Fat Man and doubtless sample some of the finer fare of West Yorkshire's pubs and breweries. I think he's been missing me.

Yaaaariiiiiit
Have a good time. Sounds like it should be fun- I don't really know that area of oop North, although it's my sister's old uni. I'm sure it's good for your favoured type of booze. I'm thinking of going up to Sheffield myself to see hot lezza and depressed ex-fling. Fun.
(, Mon 1 Nov 2010, 19:15, Reply)
I actually miss Spam.

This is going to turn into another "chicken" situation, isn't it?

(, Mon 1 Nov 2010, 18:44, Reply)
No. I've drawn a line and will not step over.

(, Mon 1 Nov 2010, 18:46, Reply)
Now that is unusual
I guess you could substitute tofu for the texture but it would be lacking that industrial not-quite-meaty quality...
(, Mon 1 Nov 2010, 18:45, Reply)
It was very tasty even though it was animal shite in a can.

(, Mon 1 Nov 2010, 18:47, Reply)
It does work amazingly well in curries
I guess it's a bit like that paneer cheese, but made of, as you say, animal-shite-in-a-can. Unfortunately I think the manufacturers have taken advantage of its cult status as it's vastly overpriced these days.
(, Mon 1 Nov 2010, 18:53, Reply)
Cheesy peas!

(, Mon 1 Nov 2010, 18:36, Reply)
DELICIOUS
He fries it. Sometimes I find it fried in curries, more often it's just soft and squidgy and not as good. It's brilliant crispy :D
