Do you play often?
Also, if $600 is a good result, see my edit in my last reply to you.

I play 2-3 times a week
I'm playing super turbo - 300 chips, 15/30 blinds, blinds go up every 3 minutes. It rewards players who don't panic short stacked. I haven't failed to be up on the night since February.

super turbo sounds like a cheap white cider!
How much are 300 chips?

What is the record poker win?
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 0:04, Reply)
it depends
e.g. I can pick a $10+$1 table - that's $10 to the pot from each player and $1 to the house - up to $209+$7 (I say up to, I could go higher I suppose).

the latter is where I won my big cash tonight - finished first, won $815.

Well that's next season covered
Unless you'll go again.

How much of the game is skill and how much luck?
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 0:34, Reply)
the games I play
have a fair amount of luck but its more about holding your nerve until you have a good hand.

So will you use the money for next season
Or gamble it again on a more expensive table?
(, Tue 2 Nov 2010, 0:50, Reply)
Typically I cash out back down to $200 in my poker bank
and then play that.

If I spend it all I load more. Currently I'm shuffling it out to my savings account...

Edit: time for bed. Night Jeff!
