While I was thinking of a question to ask, I received this from our H&S manager: www.snopes.com/crime/gangs/carseat.asp

I think that's from the USA, but there have been people reporting the same thing here. I thought I should share with you.

I used to get so many of them from my mum until I started replying
with a link from Snopes to dispel them. There were HIV needles in change compartments of drinks machines, business cards with chloroform on them and men who pretend to wash your car but are really letting the tyres down so you break down at the end of the road.

we got the note from the police, but it's on a PDF attachment, and I don't know how to put it here. It doesn't mention any National Gang Week or anything like that.
