I got mine from an army surplus website
they aren't actual army waterproofs, but they are very good. The problem I find with a lot of waterproof trousers is that they have holes where the pockets are to let you get your hand to your actual pockets, but these just let in water so you end up with a damp crotch.

Yeah sure Al, that's 'water'.

Also. Al has already cut out the pocket linings from his regular trousers...
and then walks around carrying a large pile of files and asks random strangers if they would mind getting the keys out of his pocket for him.

This works more often than you would think

ones like that also tend to be a bit flimsy I find
I use them for wandering through fields and by rivers and stuff, which often involves climbing over barbed wire fences or brushing through brambles so they aren't really up to it.

I'm hoping that while on secondment I will be able to acquire a set of [organisation name removed] waterproofs as they are the fucking business. As long as I don't get mistaken for somebody from that organisation too much in future.

Ooo, let me know what brand these are
as I would love a set of awesome waterproofs.

they are a well known brand
but I can't think what the brand is at the moment.

I think they're 'Tedio' brand - they're from Dulwich.
