I woke up at 6amAfter four hours sleep, because the wind noise in my (non-double-glazed) bedroom was too loud to sleep. I dragged a spare mattress through to the box room, moved my bike to my bedroom, and settled down on the floor. At 8.24am my flatmate opened the door to the gasman who had come to read the meter.
Which is in the boxroom.
I'm not sure who got more of a shock - my flatmate and the gasman when they opened the door and saw me or me when I woke up to a strange, clipboard-wielding man standing over me and ranting about meters.
