Anyone have one of those circular meat/cheese/bread slicing things?
I have coveted one of these for many years, as the idea of having waffer thin slices of brisket, smoked ham and cheeses on demand, gives me the fucking horn. The Argos have a decent stainless steel one for just £20. I may well have to get one this very day...along with a selection of sliceable products.

Do you mean a mandolin or an electric-y one?

^this
also, I find that incredibly sharp knives allow me to cut that sort of thing anyway.

Yes, i do have incredibly sharp knives and a steel
However, I want the electrified dazzle and consistent thinness that comes courtesy of the dangerous spinning blade. Even the sharpest of knive has trouble slicing a joint of siverside into perfectly uniform 1mm slices.

each to their own I suppose
I wouldn't want my meat sliced that thing

In theory this is good
but thick slices FTW! More cheese/meat product = better. Maths!
