Indeed
The cowling blew off my chimney last night. Now I have to deal with tradesmen AGAIN.

was it that stormy down your way?
i didn't really notice in london, but then i was so hammered, i probably wouldn't have noticed if your cowling had blown over and hit me in the face.

Very windy. I'm amazed the chicken coop was still at the top of the garden.
Damn weather *shakes fist*

i absolutely love that you are being 100% serious when you say this about coops and gardens
but am also worried about charlie getting blown away and all her feathers ruffled now.

Nah, she's fine.
She's going through a moult at the moment and she looks quite funny because she's lost her tail feathers.

Hopefully they should all grow back in time for the worst winter has to offer.

is that how she keeps warm then?

do you keep the fancy tail feathers, or are they not that fancy and covered in chicken shit/mud?
