I only ever remember being in oneI was on the coach, heading to school. We hit black ice, slid across the road, and ploughed into the front of a Saxo (I think). Luckily the woman was physically fine, bit of a shock, and her bonnet made an impressive concertina afterwards.
We were only just off a roundabout, so not going too fast, or it could have been far worse.
