Part of why I liked it.
I got it from Black Market Minerals, if you've ever been to one of those stores. That was actually one of the milder looking masks!

we've got Mountain Mystic which is like the wiccan/stone/incense/book/witchy stuff

never really seen a load of masks like that
I did see a Venetian mask online once that just covered the eyes and was covered in music notes and it was gorgeous.

Black Market Minerals
is a chain that carries polished stone from around the world made into various things (or as it is), and things like drums and masks and rain sticks that look vaguely African. I go in there for slabs of stone to put into stained glass pieces, and that mask (and a few others) caught my eye. I have a couple on trees outside and a couple hanging in the house, along with my African tribal mask from Kenya and other strange carvings my grandparents brought back in the 1940s.

Oh, and the six foot Masai spear that Grandpa bought in the market over there.
