And nope, I left it in fairly good condition. Not magnificent, I was expecting him to take some money off me for repairs, but he's being a right prick with it. (£40 to clean curtains, etc)
Aye, that was the plan, but a talk with my Dad made me clearer on a few things that I was fussing over, I'm able to move out again, just means being a little careful for the next month. Also, this property came up earlier than expected.

have a word with rswipe re: your rights. And I'm sure if you ask the estate agent nicely they'll give you another day. Why can't your dad be guarantor given that you're currently living with him?

And my stepmum is now reducing her hours, so she can't really be used either. Plus, she refuses to do it again, after last time they were phoning her colleagues in her office, asking about her personality, etc. Stupidly in depth.

but of course it's in-depth. Full credit check, references, the works. After all, they are now the ones responsible for paying the rent, not you. That's the point of a guarantor. It's not just to tell them that you are a pleasant chap.
