Morning folks
Today I am still struggling to reacclimatize myself to our godawful weather and my job, which it appears no-one bothered to cover while I was away. Am also getting very frustrated by my body's refusal to sleep past 5.30am despite how absurdly knackered I was the night before.

When I was 15 I was graduating from hard rock to heavy metal and starting to grow my hair, so probably Pantera, or possibly (embarrassingly, with hindsight) Megadeth, who were the first band I saw live. Lost my glasses in the moshpit. Actually faced away from the stage for part of the remaining gig by mistake.

Not sleeping past 5:30 might be handy for a few weeks, if you like cricket.
You would have been just in time to see/hear England fall apart this morning.

That did occur to me at about 7am when it was too late
Then I got a text from my best mate about the score and realised how lucky I am to be an absent-minded bastard

Pantera are superb
Megadeth, not so.

Agreed
Pantera were never less than epic. I will stand by and defend certain Megadeth songs (Foreclosure of a Dream, Holy Wars, Skin O' My Teeth) til I die but a lot of what I once thought was awesome has not aged well

You're a 'pant-tearer'.

It took you 25 minutes to come up with that?
Really?

The problem with setting yourself such a high standard with your put-downs is that it makes the lamer efforts look shithouse. D-, must try harder

5:30 is not that early
I usually have to wake up around that time anyway... At what time did you go to bed and for how long did you sleep? Are you still feeling tired?

I can't wait to Wednesday and it's 25degC!

My body is obviously still in Vietnam time
Right now I feel fine but when I got home from work yesterday at about 5am I was absolutely fucked. To try and get back into UK time I went to bed at 10pm hoping to sleep for 9 hours

Well, you're doing pretty well
7:30h is almost a good night sleep. Is your girlfriend having the same problem? You can use that extra time in the morning to do a few things... you know...

My better half is not a morning person
Also, I have no idea what these other things are, please elaborate. Or, better, show me
