it's XP and yessafe mode and command prompt all take me to the logon box
tried all the usual default passwords and they don't work, unsurprisingly.
tried prefixing my login with the appropriate domain for the work network as well and that doesn't work either.
It's going to have to wait till tomorrow to sort out now, but if you have any ideas I'd appreciate it.
