Yeah, that's what I had in mind
especially the first battle at Yonkers, where they can show all the camera shots of the soldiers battle helmets. And satellite images of the nuclear exchange.

Some of the other scenes I don't think would film well as a documentary, like the pilot on the run after bailing out the plane.

or just leave it out, It's a part that is clearly designed to be played by michelle rodriguez and she's a shit actress.
