Oh yeah
Trekked down the M1 until I got picked up by Highway Maintenance (who were, quite rightly, worried that I would get all squished)and they dropped me off at my cousin's in Barnsley. Got some money put in my bank the next day and trains were running. I nearly kissed the ground when I got home, but then I remembered that that would be disgusting. Cheers for asking :)

At least you're safe and sound.
I couldn't think of anything worse than being stranded somewhere with nowhere to go to and not enough money to hole up in a pub.

But as soon as I got to Barnsley (which took two and a half hours), I got a phone call from a mate's son offering me a sofa in Sheffield. That part still grates somewhat. Anyways, off to work. Shame I can't meet you tomorrow :( Bloody snow.
