Sometimes, just sometimes, old people say something worth listening to. Ok, so it's like picking the needle out of a whole haystack of mis-remembered war stories, but those gems should be celebrated.
Tell us something worthwhile an old-type person has told you.
Note, we're leaving the definition of old up to you, you smooth-skinned youngsters.

As i'm now over 30, surely everything i say is technically advice?
In that light, i say to you: Get a job and a haircut you hippy :-)
(Shameless post to say hello and that i haven't dropped off the face of the earth)

Who himself is a very serious metal-head, with huge long hair and always dressed in black, was watching Home & Away with me as we both recovered from severe hangovers. Travis (hunky guy who was in it, with flowing long hair) comes on, and Jim shouts out,
'GET A FUCKING HAIRCUT, YOU HIPPIE!'
I nearly cried with laughter.

Are you going to participate in our chat threads?
Beware, it's addictive...

i've been busy with a little one and trying to fix my life and not doing right well.
Not helped by b3ta being work blocked and my other half not understanding my need for the internet conist other things
So i'm very sorry :-)
What's that about chats?

On a few threads a few regulars tend to go off on a tangent. Some replies to postings have been known to top 500. Unless you get in there near the start, you'll wonder what on earth is going on.
And I've just realised, where I come from, 'chats' is a slang term for periods....
August bash in London btw, courtesy of ancrenne...
