Sometimes, just sometimes, old people say something worth listening to. Ok, so it's like picking the needle out of a whole haystack of mis-remembered war stories, but those gems should be celebrated.

My old dad always used to tell me..
..'if you don't get your icon for b3ta, be sure to whine about it on QOTW, the mods spend hours of every day trawling through the badly written lies, just to check on who needs their icon'.

I was going to say that you're being a bit harsh there. But having read through a lot of other threads, I see your point!

it just seems to me
that amorousbadger is a funny, literate, intelligent girl.

but only in the few posts that aren't just complaining about what other people have written. 90% of her posts are whinging about not liking other posts. it's qotw ffs, not the booker prize list!

I think he quite possibly isn't being given his icon deliberatly because he's being a whiny little cunt. Reading back through past messages of his, I'm sure I encountered him in WoW a couple of nights ago. There're can't be that many picks of that size in the world. The wording is exactly the same.
