Random statements.
Has anyone noticed that the word 'random' seems to be getting over used?
'That was a bit random, wasnt it?'

I've been saying this for years.
A girl I couldn't stand in school used to call everything "random" and she did everything she did "randomly". It was a couple of years before I could say the word in any context without shuddering.

I've been trying to slip the term, 'apropos of nothing' into conversations. Sounds a bit better than random.

I have seriously annoyed myself by my overuse of 'to be fair'. Aaaaaggghhh!
