It should be savored for that very special occasion when the word buggery and fuck just don't match up ,people will soon out date its use and it will be as un-swearwordy as the word shit.

I don't know about you all, but where I live (United States), it is considered EXTREMELY vulgar, and thus used very, very sparingly. I think I've become jaded now, though, thanks to this site; I don't bat an eye at its use anymore.
