NO. I'M NOT. I'M MIXED RACE. THAT IS THE CORRECT TERM, PLEASE USE IT.

Does Chinese-Malay mean you are a quarter chinese, a quarter malay, or is Chinese-Malay a separate, what's the correct phrase, cultural group?

My family background is a mixture of Irish and German with a sprinkling of French and a slightly more than incidental rumour of a Japanese schoolteacher somewhere.

Fifty-seven varieties.
I rarely give my ethnic background much thought- German, Irish, English, Welsh, Native American, and god knows what else. As it really has no impact on anything, I just say I'm white.
