Petty Officials
Bob de Bilde says: A traffic warden threatened to call the police and have me arrested because "It's illegal to take photos in the street. You might be a paedophile". I was taking a picture of a funny street sign, over which I had no plans to masturbate. Tell us about petty officials talking bollocks.

Sydney Traffic Rangers or 'Even bigger cunts' as they're known. Part two.
When my wife was eight and a half months pregnant with our first, I parked slightly illegally near my house - cos' you know, I might have needed to drive her to fucking hospital.
I got busted with another $250 fine.
We got letters from both our DR and Obstetrician contesting the fine, as she would have had to walk a minimum of half a mile to get to the car.
Did they withdraw the fine? Did they FUCK.

Could you have walked to the car, driven back to the house, then picked her up?
10 minutes, tops.
(Also, first child - might explain the nervousness. Just think "what did people do in the old days". Even 20 years ago many fewer people had cars and they managed just fine. Ten minutes really isn't going to make a huge difference.)

When pregnant with our first child, my wife walked the 40 minutes to work every morning right up until she went on maternity leave at eight and a half months
Exercise is actually pretty good for both the mother and the child.
They didn't withdraw the fine for parking illegally because you had parked illegally.

Though I'm sure
going into labor is not the ideal time to pop in a Jane Fonda workout video.

Why should you get special treatment because someone got your wife pregnant?
